Plans

I am thinking that over summer I may dye some clothes and possibly a pair of shoes. I'm thinking a t-shirt, a vest, dungarees, a crop top, and a pair of canvas shoes. Hopefully I will be able to afford to do this 😛. I'm also going to try and learn some more songs on my guitar, these will hopefully include; All The Angles (My Chemical Romance), You're Alright (Bry), My Love I Love You So (Tessa Violet), and possibly Smile (Danny Gruff).

Crafting and Climbing trip

The items crafted in this post were all for my friends 18th birthday and were her presents along with a bracelet (I bought a pair so we match) and a unicorn choker.

 I put the choker and the bracelet in the little pouch.

The embroidery is a unicorn, the MCRX logo, the Fall Out Boy logo and a Panic! at the Disco logo; the bands which make up the emo trinity.  

 I also went on a weekend climbing trip the the LOPC climbing club 24th-26th June. Photos courtesy of my brother. The weather was decent on the Sunday but we got rained in on the Saturday and took shelter under other rocks before going to an indoor climbing and bouldering wall.

I thought we were supposed to grow up...

Ok so this post is probably going to be very rambley.

Y'know when you're little and everything's pretty and mystical and real. Like fairies, pixies, werewolves, vampires etc. Well I thought I'd grown out of that, I mean apart from the werewolves. But it's like escapism. To just escape into your head where fairies, pixies and werewolves exist. It's fun. And peaceful.
Although being the almost adult that I am I get the feeling that I should solely focus on reality and what actually exists on planet earth.
But that's not magic, or enticing, or beautiful, or anything.
I just wanna go back to a place where it's socially acceptable to believe in pixies and fairies and werewolves. I know a lot about different types of werewolves but obviously it's useless because they don't exist.
But they should. Can't I use this stuff to make them exist.... only in my head.
I thought we grew out of believing in these paranormal ethereal creatures and beings. But no. Right now I think I probably want to believe it more than I wanted to when I was little.

MCM comicon cosplay

Those of you here from the MCR community will know this, but to everyone else, I attended MCM comicon in birmingham last weekend, I dressed as my killjoy, inspired by the comic by Gerard Way and Shaun Simon (and a few others) and the album by MCR. I like the way I looked, no one understood what I was.

But anyway, pictures.

Hur dye

On Sunday I went to my friends house to have my hair dyed. I had blue fade into purple. I think it looks awesome, I hope you agree!

This weekend is MCM comic-con in Birmingham, I can't wait to bring my Killjoy to life!

All Time Low

Hey!

On Saturday my friend and I went to see All Time Low in Birmingham. THEY WERE AMAZING!! The support acts they had were pretty good too (Against The Current and Good Charlotte).






We took the train to B'ham, met a friend who has an apartment there, then queued for 4 hours. But our standing spot was worth it.




They had an awesome set list (see spotify playlist below) with 2 acoustic performances which I managed to video parts of! I also videoed some other songs.

While we were in the queue I sent my friend to purchase our merch, we both bought the same tour t-shirt. 

In the encore Jack came out in only his boxers!

MCM Killjoy

So, this year again I'm going to MCM in Birmingham with a few people.
I decided that I wouldn't cosplay this year, I will however wear the appropriate clothes for my Killjoy. I don't care if people don't get it. I just want to wear something I'm comfortable in and represents something I like.

Redesign

Any followers who are still around will notice I have given the blog a new look. And updated the description.

Hopefully I'll be able to blog more soon.

In other news the fake lip ring and new ear cuff I ordered off Dazzling Adornments arrived today and look awesome! My mother dislikes the fake lip ring though (It's to be expected, she doesn't particularly like my fake tattoos either).

Ok, I know I'm an uber bad blogger

Hey,

I haven't posted for a while, but a few things happened, I got  my AS results and got kicked out of my 6th form, I turned 17, I competed in the International agility festival, I quilted a bag with my aunt and I took some pictures on my Polaroid camera.

Ok, so to start, my 17th birthday, I had my best friend and my boyfriend over for pizza and films, I got the rest of the MCR Conventional Weapons singles, the QI facts books and some DVDs to add to my collection.


The  international agility festival was nothing special, we got no places, we worked a lot harder on not creeping at the start line, quicker weaves and not stopping during a run.

The bag I made with my aunt  turned out really nicely, it's quite strong and fits a lot in. I love the fabric I chose for it.

The polaroid pictures to start with were disappointing I believe they were too exposed in the sun to develop properly, the next few the errors in the pictures were my fault, wobbly camera, not adjusting the light exposure on my camera, the auto flash. But I do know that the pictures develop and take properly, I recently ordered some more colour film and some black and white film. It's a very expensive hobby though with film costing £17 per pack +p&p for 8 pieces of film.

Stuff, Guys, Stuff!

I decided that since MCR broke up I should look a bit more into each of the former members, upon doing this I now own The Umbrella Academy Apocalypse Suite and Dallas.
I also bought the book to accompany Danger Days; The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys. On top of this I made up my own killjoy, Lethal Lupine, I made a cardboard gun to go with the style. Oh, and I ordered a Black Parade Military Style Jacket, it is a custom size too. :P










Also I have received MIKA's new album; No Place In Heaven, I'm tied for a favourite song between Rio and Talk About You.  The new MUSE album; Drones arrived today as well.

In terms of crafting, I started making a bag with my aunt which ended up temporarily breaking her machine, I am yet to return to finish the bag. I lieu of this I used scraps of fabric from this and previous projects to make a case for my kindle.

I have actually done blog worthy things!

I have decided to go slightly retro and buy a polaroid camera, and cassette stuff.



My polaroid camera and film has arrived, can't wait to use it!




















The first order of blank cassettes has also arrived, they are 46 minutes. I am going to make a perks themed one, an Awesome Mixtape Vol. 1 from GotG and a tape of MCR and MIKA.

Also I did a bit of baking over the weekend, I made chocolate chip banana bread, it turned out very well,  if I do say so myself. :P

Pondering

Ok, I know I'm rubbish at the whole regularly updating the blog thing but, I do love blogging, just most of the time nothing interesting happens.

So, I went to my aunts over easter to continue making a small bag and get help with a crochet pattern (My owl still needs eyes :P). Also over easter I ordered 2 skirts and they arrived. They're absolutely gorgeous.

I'm still waiting on my t-shirt order to arrive but I only got a shipping email last friday and they are coming from america.



Also recently amongst extra revision, which pays off, I have been reading fanfiction; sherlock, wolfblood, TBBT and a little pokemon, it's quite entertaining I did have to google the ratings for fanfic though :P
